Default custom rear mount turbo kit

I was thinking of puting together a rear mount turbo kit from scratch, and I was wondering what parts i would need.
I already know about
turbo
piping
cup links
wastgate
bov
intercooler
injectors
tune

What else would i need to run about 6psi.

oil pump, fuel pump, a lot of heat wrap, tap the oil pan or get an adapter for the oil filler ... longer gears?

you may be able to get away with no intercooler - no cutting, stock look but sounds mean!

what turbo are you thinking of running?

nothing to big probably a 60-62mm. will a ported ls6 be good enough, and im thinking of just getting an adapter for the oil filter.
for the piping do i need steel or would plastic be good for a rear mount.

The ls6 is fine. As for the piping you need aluminum.

You need a scavenge pump and lines to return the oil from the turbo to the pan. It's a good idea to upgrade the oil pump in the motor, but not really necessary.

Do yourself a favor and buy a used STS setup. The initial hit to the wallet is harder, but so many little things will be solved without a lot of time and effort. Don't get me wrong. I love DIY but believe me, you will actually save money going with a proven setup.

Agree with above buy used, then upgrade as needed. I bought mine used for cheap and upgraded slowly as well as reengineer parts and spent less than a new kit in the end.

I pick one up used with everything. For 1500.00 but the turbo needed to be rebuilt. Owell
