Default problems with the hp performance turbo kit.

i got a 98 ls1 its at force fed performance in sac CA. i got the stage one kit from hp performance which is the garret t60 .70 a/r compresor and .96 exhuast housing small i knw now lol ext. well when they got the k-member in from pa racing the stock a-arms wouldnt fit properly. hp said they should fit but they dont thats one problem the next problem is the turbo headers 1.75s are hitting the brake lines which can be moved out the way easly but they are also hiting the fuel lines. forcefed (ffp) told me that they couldnt be bent because they will kink but hp said this is how they move the lines out the way to just bent them. i recomended to install steel braided lines for the fuel lines. hp told me they are trying to get in contact with pa racing for they will send me free aftermarket a-arms and hopefully cure the solution. but now my car is stuck at the shop .

i aslo have a question as far as i researched that the t60 garret with tial 44mm at 8pounds should be fine to push 500hp but i also got the 10 pound spring aswell would it be better to just run the 8lb for street use and 10lbs at the track with a eboost controller?

the engine is stock with doule valve springs /chromolly pushrods /hardend timing chain /walbro 255 /42lbs injectors /stock cam /big *** intercooler/ all jet hot coated /3.5'' down pipe /4'' transition exhaust pipe

sorry i cant spell... excuse my french but what the feezzy

Hit up Chewy99WS6, I know that he has that kit on his car along with the PA K-Member.

Funny you should mention EPP as I read they did not have a very nice time with the HP kit they installed. Late parts/missing parts/poor fitment seemed to be the story. I would say give the company time, but if they can't procure a solution return the kit for a refund and go with an easier to install one.
