Default bbc single turbo fuel injected on 92 and alky

hey guys is it possible to build this combo under 17 grand? im shooting for high 9s on 92 and alky 3800 lb car with driver. 540 cid

540 ?

With high 9's as a goal, you dont even need a turbo unless you are in a 4Klb car or more.

Probably not. Maybe the motor it's self, or atleast more than half on it. Depends on what parts you already have. 540's big. My buddy built a 496 for his tubbed c10 and I think he said that was even expensive. What car is it going in?

We built a 377 SBC with all good parts but nothing exotic, T76GTS, air/air, tubular headers, csu carb, etc... for around $20G.

im running a 274 stroker with a pt 76 gts on c16 and alky has run a best of 9.63 @ 143mph on 25lbs boost. im just tinkering with the idea of low boost more cubes, less converter for better streetability! and when i get to track turning up the boost considerably lol. hopefully mid eights
