Default 11.2cr 370ci w/D1sc@10lbs frontmount intercooler

Hey guys i'm just looking for some input on what I should do for fuel and timming on my setup. I have a 370 with the stock crank, Scat H-beam rods, Mahle flat-tops (1cc valve reliefs), Prc 2.5 Ls6 heads, Mls .040 gaskets, Ms4 cam 111.5 lsa, and the Fast 92/92 combo. I know the cr is high but the motor was built for spray, but I had a friend talk me into buying a prochager for it. I had been running 5-6lbs of boost on 93 but the 6 rib was slipping so we just put the 8 rib setup on and i'm running about 10lbs now on 111 race fuel ($5.79 a gal)

My first question is do you think I could run 93 with a meth kit or would that be too risky for the high compression? Or would switching to e85 be a safer thing to do? (I'm trying to get away from the $6 a gallon)

Then what kind of timming do you all think I should be running?

If you have access to E85, it is likely the best solution,

As for how much timing you'll be able to run, thats between you, the tuner, and what the car wants. It wont be hard to figure out with a few pulls on the dyno or runs on the street, which will be required anyhow as you'll need a retune of all your fueling tables for the switch to E85. How big are your inejctors?

Right now i'm running stock lines/rails, dual 255's, and 50's. The car made 410hp n/a at the wheels on a mustang dyno at 6400rpm through a slipping Fuddle. I now have a 4l80e and a Pro Yank in the car so thats fixed.

Heres a link to the graph. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2068...Ml?vhost=rides

The easiest IMO is to sell your heads and buy some 317 heads if you need to run gasoline. If you can get E85, put in some of those new 85 lb/hr high impedence injector and get it tuned. You can always put a new pulley on and lower boost also. But that's no fun

Thanks for the info so far guys. I'm trying to keep my heads since I already have them, and was thinking of switching from the .040 gasket to a .080 but i'm not too sure how much that would help.

Any more input?

Think a water/meth kit would do the trick for you.

Who make a .080 gasket? Switching from 0.040 gasket to a 0.080 will help out alot.

TEA can CNC your combustion chambers up. They opened my 317 heads up to 79cc. I got flat top pistons with -2 reliefs and GM 6.0 gaskets. My CR is around 8.6:1 and Im running 15psi on 93octane, no meth.

However I think Im going to install another set of 317s to bring the CR up to 10.1 and add some meth on it.

Are you running a supercharger or a turbo? Im going with 10.1 on my setup just so its better responsive on the street.

EDIT: I just looked at your sig lol.

i would not even think of boosting a motor with the CR that high, not enough room for error for my liking. try to get some 72cc heads to lower the CR.

I would have the chambers opened up and run a very slightly thicker head gasket like a GM MLS. Running a thick gasket like a .080 will kill your quench distance. Opening the heads up doesn't help a whole lot with burn, but you can get away with that with a good quench distance.
