best comp ratio/build for a procharger 900+rwhp ???????
i am about to start building my bottom end and need to know what piston's work for what i am doing at what comp ratio. i am building a dd street car 402d1 warhawk lsx heads 025250-2

everyone allway's said 9.0 is right for a charger . i talked to a guy at a speed shop he told me that 9.8 is what he builds his motor's to ( mustang shop ) . it sounds high to me but i have not messed with forced induction before so this is a learning experience for me. i would like a 900+ rwhp capable combo should i run the stock crank or should i get a forged ( hunter02 ran a stock to 1200rwhp). what piston's and rods should i run for something like this ? as far as the bottom end goes is there anything i should get or do to make this thing work properly. i have talked to a guy about having a 402 built he said they can be problemental with boost ? he reccomended i go with a 377 as a daily driver?

Def. running meth with it. OKC has 91 Pumps mostly. There's still a couple of 101 Pumps around my stomping grounds so that's what it'll be running when I take it out to play.
OP, sorry for the hi-jack. I'm running a dragonslayer crank, callies h-i beam rods, and wiseco pistons in mine.

Do what you want, but I would stick with the 9.0-9.25 for those boost levels if you are planning on only running 93 and maybe some meth if you want, but not a need. On my black car it showed @23 today while I was running out of fuel bla bla bla. GL it will run fine.

What Boost # were you running when it put down the 880? What have you changed since to get her up past 20 psi?
Finally got mine started... made 6xx at 7psi, then tightened belt, shot to 15, and blew up my MAF at 660ish lol... going SD tune now. Might throw a little shot at it for laughs after tuning it for the alky control etc...
