Default Ways to keep AC?

Just curious on what the best way to retain the AC would be on a single front mount set-up? I know that the truck manifolds wont allow it if they are faced forward....and I assume that they wont clear the strut tower if hey are pointed up?

Is there any way to mount the passenger manifold facing back and have the pipe make a u -turn back to front? More specifically is there any way to do this without a Turbo K-Member? Thanks for the input.

You would use a c6 vette manifold on the pass. side to retain the a/c if you are going with the manifold set up.

Watch for a used OFI kit that retains the a/c or use the C6 setup like mentioned above.

Im thinking about taking a flowmaster type merge 2.5" into 3" and seeing if there is any way to locate it either side having the manifolds face back, and enter the merge after making U-Turns then you would have a single 3" at the turbo flange...and let the DP run down the other side. Has it been tried?

I guess the question is....would the merge pipe go through the stock K-Member?

Is a merge to 3" before the turbo too much of a restriction? Do you really need the dual 2.5 right up to the flange?

just save your money and skip on the flowmaster merge thingy, i bought one trying to avoid having to make my own and when i tried fitting it under the hood the thing was to bulky and i couldnt get a good angle with the tubes anywhere. needless to say its in the garage collecting dust. just build your own merge, that way it's a tighter fit

and the way your discribing how you want to run your pipes has been done before. me.
