Default boost controller on s/c

i saw a thread in here somewhere on this but i cant seem to find it now... has anything happened with this and is it becoming easier to do this now? i think they did it on the wastegate before but im not sure. any info would help thanks

That's the only way I've seen it done, other than pulley swaps, is with a wastegate. Seems to be very effective at controlling boost, but I'm not sure what the trade-offs are, if any.

a buddy of mine showed me a thread on a mustang website where a guy had done it with a wastegate really cool set up too, i would like to try it,it would be nice on the street to be able to launch at half boost or less

i know with the spray i cant hold nothing down on the street most of the time so i can see where it would be handy in a s/c application

thanks for that link... so yeah he does it by the w/g but does it perform the way it would in turbo cars? and does anything need to be changed to run this?
