Yep thats cake. I made 632rwhp with my old P1SC setup at 14psi with stock truck heads, speed inc SC2 cam, and MAC midlength headers/ Y-pipe. I wouldnt reccomend that much power for a stock shortblock tho. That was on my forged 347. On my stock engine, I made 489rwhp at 7# on my P1 with stock cam and heads and midlength headers.

my little P1 is good to 786rwhp, so you'll have zero problems...

Thanks! I don't recommend more than 8 psi on a stock bottom end. To shoot for 12-14 psi I would add better rods and pistons, and ARP head studs. Check out this engine build using the stock crankshaft. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...php?service=83 Bob

500rwhp is TOO easy. With the cam it will throw you closer to 550 with around 7-8lbs. But with the stock bottom you want to keep it under 8lbs and 550rwhp anyways.

500 rwhp all day long. Its the supporting cast that will cost you thousands. Items like trans, diff, blown engines, tires, brakes, etc.

Ummm, 13psi here for five years on a stock bottom end revving to 7k RPMs. It can be done.
