I went with PRO YANK 3400 Extreme . Seen a lot of guys run them with great results and big power turbo builds. I talked directly to yank when ordered. Mine is for 4l80e but pretty sure they offer same one for a turbo 400. Tight on the street and looser under boost. My car is 99% street car, 1 per cent track car and maybe zero percent track car if don't get at least a rollbar so can slow it down and go 10.0 and up. Under 10.0 you need the full cage and thats not going to happen with my car.

I also like vig and have one in my 96z. Seems to be a good converter. I like to stick to the big names in converters but some guys have good luck with some of the other brands sponsored on here.

Depends on your budget, but can't go wrong with Neal Chance or PTC.

Exact same one in my 4l80e and love it. Drives like a stock 4l60e til you let it romp. Flashes dead on too. Good luck!

Can't go wrong with Yank or PTC. I have a TCI 4K super street fighter and it hasn't let me down yet. TCI gets the most bad rep IMHO, but they also make and sell the most converters, TCI is a higher volume company.

1998 Z28 H/C 347 and ATI D1SC with custom FMIC right at 560 rwhp ahead of a Yank PY3400 and Performabuilt Lvl II 4LE60.

There is night and day difference street cruising driveability between the Yank and what it replaced (Vig 3600 - Vig was a lot looser). However, I haven't ran the Yank at the track so don't know how it performs there.

I would never go back to a Vig.

Don't remember the name but KP used a convertor that I think he would rank right up there with the Chance.
