Default those who moved there battery

I have been searching for a kit to buy. the search is all jacked up, I did a search for "battery relocation kit" fiert thing to come up was about some crazy bitch poking holes in condoms.

anyways I called a shop in town and the wiring guy there tells me I have to run a line from the battery (-) to the engine. all the kits I have found seem to only have a 3ft line off the battery for the (-). do I really need to run it to the engine.

I saw a kit a on burkharts sight but there is no price, nothing to link to more info on whats in the kit.

looking for something in the 200 ballpark, with a plastic tray ect....

tried calling burkhart and it said number was disconnected, no answer at at epp either. I hate wiring at all that jazz. just want somthing I can "bolt" up.

any help is great.

I used this bracket with a relocation kit from summit has all the wire and stuff. You could just buy wire probably cheaper. You just ground it to the trunk area.

Just ground it in the back near the battery. I use the seat belt bolt for mines.

I'm in the process of doing this right now. Do you want to do it or do it right? There's a big difference between doing it and being legal at the track. I went with a summit box, 1/0 power wire, kill switch, 2 gauge to the alternator, 200amp circut breaker, brass buss bars for up front connections and terminals. I'm probably just under $300 total plus a $100 battery but it should work and be legal. I'm just planning on grounding it at the back somewhere. I'm sure the whole way to the engine would be ideal but alot are getting away without doing that.

I just ran my positive to my starter and from my starter over to the Fuse Blocks on the drivers side. I just grounded it out in the trunk, you dont have to go all the way to the engine. I got a battery holder like the ones from BMR.

also remember you need to run an alternator feed wire all the way back to the kill switch too in order to kill the car when its running.

ground wire can be connected in the back...

If you ever plan on taking the car to the track, the relocation kit needs to be a sealed and vented box. The el cheapo ones will not get you past tech.
