Too much oil??
Question guys....
How much oil does a turbo need? I'm feeding mine through a 1/8" orifice, and now it's leaking past the seals into the intake and exhaust.

Mine is doing the same thing, I am going to put a jet in mine. I have an upgraded porter ls6 oil pump too, probley doesn't help. Make sure your oil drain is large enough. -10+ and has gravity draining it.

I took the return off today to take some measurements. Turns out I'm getting about 1.2Liters per min. Thats at idle with the engine warmed up. 2 LPM holding 1800 RPM.

On the last turbo I installed (rear mount) I had about 1.4 per min at idle and it was filling past centerline and leaking like you are describing. I threw a N20 jet in there and that slowed it down to around .75 which is close enough for me. I think we used a .07 jet but I dont remember.
If you are a rear mount I would make sure your pump is getting enough and constant voltage; that was another problem I had on the last build and it leaked through the seals.
