Default Problems with Alky system causing hydrolock?

anyone have this problem with their alcohol system causing your motor to lock up? or cause something to bad to happen??

Friend said his sprayed without notice and caused a big problem. thanks

I bet it was installed incorrect or cheap cheap kit

no check valve and tank installed higher then lines good chance

Or he sprayed with the ignition on but the motor off. Bad news. Should wire it so it can't happen. No rpm signal should = no alky injection. Liquid doesn't compress, so rods bend and split out the side of the motor and stuff...

thanks guys, anyone else have any imput. Just trying to gather as much info on this as possible.

From what i was told the system sprayed with the car off when he was working on something else on the car that wasnt even closely related it to it. So he thinks that the system may have had a short in it when it was installed and thats what caused it.
