Here is what i am doing. We need to shoot a tow rope 250 yards. We are going to use a scba tank that is rated at 4500psi to feed our expansion chamber 150-400psi. The projectile that is towing a 300-500lb spectra line to pull across the heavier line. Im just wanting to know if it is worth going from a 1in 200psi max to a 3/4in 450psi max system. The 1in will give me the volume but the 3/4in will give me a hell of a lot of velocity. The projectile is going to weigh in at about 2lbs so i need the 3/4in at 450psi max to get it further I think.
