Default How did i make these numbers?

674rwhp 694tq corrected numbers
This is a stock bottom end ls1 with a front mount custom built turbo with mods in sig at 10# of boost and 18* of timming. i was only really looking to make 550 to 560 to the wheels. The shop i had it tuned at couldnt believe it and the inj are only at 72%. with 94 octane and no knock
Does anyone have a explination for this freak of nature im going to have to turn the boost down now.

10#s seems a bit low but you aren't the first to push those kind of numbers on a dyno on a stock shortblock. Guys that leave em at that power level usually see a few hundred miles before they blow though. I'd suggest 550rwhp MAX.

The boost level is ok..I probably would have took some timing out of it while tuning it. I would also double check whatever you are using to measure boost and make sure it really is on 10 psi, those are good numbers.

I had the same thing happen to me with my procharger setup. I was only thinking of 520 to 550 at the wheels and the car made 611 on 18* of timing and 7-8lbs of boost.

Crazy numbers but i am with PM 93formto98T/A on this one i dont think you will be able to hold that kind of power for long on a stock block. Get your self a good set of pistons and a good balance and then your talking

um, cause its a dyno and hp is a made up number that means absolutely nothing........

My suzuki 1200 bandit can make 1000 hp on the dyno, or it can make 5 hp. Its doesnt matter until it gets back on the same dyno.

Hhhmm nice numbers! I needed this thread right about now! I'm finishing up my forged 347 t76 with 317 heads and 18psi and was begging to wonder if it was going to be worth the money if I didn't break 700 but this cheered me up!

Nice numbers congrats man!

Take that on your parade. J/k

What size injectors? Also take it to the track before she blows, with that much power you should trap a least in the mid 130s.

126 kpa is a little over 18 psi. 10 psi is 69 kpa

100 kpa, but I would think a gauge would be calibrated for that. It's not like N/A cars run around telling people they're running ~14psi depending on the weather lol.
