Thumbs up $100 = 3 more #'s of boost

Yesterday I changed out my stock air filter from procharger for a larger one, and added a small filter to the bypass return hole in the blower hat. Before this I was seeing 10 #'s of boost at 6,000 rpms, and today when I took her out I was seeing 13 #'s of boost at 6,000 rpms. Well worth the $$$ and the 1/2 hour of time

Well said sir... Not the smartest thing in the world I know. Just wanted to see if I had done any thing to help the blower breathe.

Do you have the bypass just venting to the air? or did you plumb it back into the intake? Im guessing you just have dumped somewhere? Could you post pics of the bypass by chance?

Ya I have the race bypass vented to the atmosphere. I had a expantion plug in that hole since I installed the kit, and after reading all the threads about guys removing the blower hat on the dyno I decided to add a filter. "KP" posted up some pics of his filter on the return hole in this thread, https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...inlet-hat.html I figured it can't hurt to let the blower pull more air from this hole too.

Here are the pic's of my bypass.
