Default Turbo rebuild

How hard is it to rebuild a turbo? I'm leaking oil into the intake while coming into boost so I'm pretty sure my seals are gone. How hard are they to replace, and can the average guy do it?

They are super simple basically nothing in them. But you pretty much have to get them pro balanced after rebuilding. They spin at super high rpm.

Most of the time leaking oil is not a blown turbo.

If its screeching and not boosting then more likely. If its just doing the oil thing its very likely other things.

If it's just leaking oil into the intake, I would imagine the check valve is probably bad
