usually a cam for nitrous doesnt work well with boost. i'm no expert but i know a lower lsa can cause boost leak through the valves due to overlap. i would want something w/ no less than a 114 lsa... 115 116 being more in my comfort range

Though not ideal, it should performance pretty good. Now the Grand Am Cup cam is another story; 239/251//570/570//106.

Perdieu runs one in his GTO. 370, ported 243 heads, single 76mm turbo, mid 600's to the tire through a TH400.

So it sounds like the tqv2 isn;t so bad.. i'd be happy with high 500's outta it. Whta about gears? 3.50's?? I was also looking at the borgwarner S400 turbo 76mm. Or master power any good?? Thanks

I dont understand why you would say this 7* of overlap is small should not lose much boost any if any thing should help to push out any left over exhaust gases. 0* over lap should be better then -7* Cant leak boost if the valves are closed. but longer the valves are closed less air is getting in.

I wouldnt worry about the 113 LSA there a few car putting out some great numbers with 110 and 111 lsa. there some one on this board from AUS with a 110 in the 1100 rwhp range

Well those numbers are still impressive. What cams a good cam then..or atleast a better cam..or the best. You think a single walbro would feed it?

When it comes to cams with turbos it's kind of a black art so to speak. Cams that shouldn't work good sometimes do. It seems that some overlap makes good power, but to much makes it a dog down low and mid range. Look up the member Perdieu on here and ls2gto.com Like I said his car hauls with the exact cam you are thinking of and it's in a 4000lb GTO. I myself am having Shawn at Va Speed spec me out a cam and it's only $395. The avg price for a cam whether it's off the shelf or custom.
