Wink Oh...SNAP!!!

ran our local drag radial event at Maryland International Raceway Friday night.

1st qualifier...back down the tune to ensure the car gets down the track and we make the field

5.310 @ 142.72

2nd qualifier...more boost at launch and more boost up top

something broke at the top of 1st gear

tore it apart Sat morning

opps...found this sitting in my torque converter

manufacturer is taking care of it and replacing it since there was a known heat treat issue from that batch of input shafts. while its apart we decided to have the converter tightened a few hundred more rpm

so I had to go and do this to ensure I can build boost properly on the line

here are the vids of the runs

What type of rear suspension setup do you run?

What was it stalling at? Are you restalling to tighten up on the long end (slip)?

I could hold 3900 rpm threestep on the footbrake but staging is definately touchy Probably will be that much harder with a tighter converter

Nice run! Looks like both runs were smooth. 142 in the 1/8 is getting it done. What size of axels are you running?
