Default new to FI... first mods..

https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-...oser-9-m6.html

looks like i might possibly be picking this car up in the next few days...
i am a COMPLETE noob when it comes to FI...

my plans right now are to up the boost to around 9 lbs, get a cutout, get another tune on it (i have an amazing tuner)..

does this sound like the best way to go? i am shooting for a tad under 600rwhp.. somewhere in the 550-575rwhp..

do i have enough injectors or do i need to move up to 60lbs?

was talking to a buddy tonight, keep in mind i come from huge lift cams NA engines.. do i need to get push rods springs timing chain oil pump... etc etc etc...
it has the stock cam stock heads etc etc etc..

one more.. buddy told me i should go with ls6 heads instead of going 6.0 truck heads.. what are the benefits and draw backs to this? either head will be stock..
the cam i "will be" putting in will either be an ls6 cam or if i can get a blower cam on the cheap ill pick it up..

thanks for any help!!!!!!!

You will most likely need truck 60's, if it only has one pump you should be ok there, but I wouldn't boost any more.

Haha, I think 9psi would be fine personally, but I wouldn't go any higher on a single pump, just make sure you have plenty of fuel pressure.

Go with 6.0 liter heads to drop the compression and lower cylinder pressure. Your bottom end will appreciate it. Then run 10#s.

Im all for swapping the heads. The 6.0's are the best bang for your buck and will allow you to go to 10# safer that the LS6's fo sho. Swap the pulley and your set! Well you "might" be pushing those 42's past there limit so get some 60's just to be safe.
