I would say Trickflow... not because I can quote you specific specs, but that I have seen 4-5 1500-2000hp setups all using them. (Even my lowly 1000hp setup uses them)

best
All Pro and C5R

great
ET 245
TFS 245
etc

real good
tfs
afr
et
anything else with a thick deck.

Maybe I'm biased I recently picked up some badass C5R heads but unless buisness picks up I won't be using them.

I think that's a wide open question, how much power do you want to make 1800? 2000? 2200?

We've had customers make 1900hp with a 360-370 cfm head, if you want to make 2200+ you'll need a 400+ cfm head, and I would like to see more like 440 cfm.

David Wolfe ran 7.40's with a 350 cfm head and drag radials. Getting the car down the track is where I would spend your money.

He said lsx which could mean LSx or LSX. I personally preffer the AFR head to all others for a 4 bolt cathedral port setup. You bolt it on and it performs. No special rockers. No 10" pushrods (that's an exaggeration). No issues with getting to the plugs if you are still running A/C.

Unfortunately, they haven't released a product to compete with the ETP245 and TFS245 and nothing in a 6 bolt.
