Default 1st Trip To The Track Results

I finally got my car to the track yesterday. I only made one pass (the car & I aren't legal yet), but it was a keeper!

9.878 @ 139.78 with a weak 1.502 60'

Now I need to replace the Patriot Golds with Extremes, buy some 28 x 13.50 QTPs & throw the TH400 w/trans brake in it and go see what it will do. After getting the window net installed & the cage cert that is. The tech guys told me I need a remote battery shut off switch too, but I might try to sneak past that one this year....

Power!

Wow nice run. Congrats -- you can now finally request a title change. Congrats again. Get the safety stuff done and crank it up.

Nice run!! How fast are you planning on going? I know IHRA chassis cert is only for 9.0 and faster. That battery cutoff rule kind of contradicts itself. If your battery is in the stock location with stock tie downs, you shouldn't need it. But in the faster than 10.0 section it says battery disconnect. First point might be something to bring up and see if the tech guy will go for it.

Good call, I forgot, I need to request a title change.

I'm aiming for 9.5 @ 145. We'll see. Not bad for a pump gas car will full interior. (I still drive it on the streets on weekends)

Yeah, that battery rule is hard to figure out. I don't need it, but I do need it. That will be the last thing I change. I have several things that exceed their requirements (Hans device, fire supression system, etc) so maybe they'll let me slide.

I'm guessing the car weighs 3750 based on what the previous setup weighed, but I haven't weighed it yet.

Nice! What is your race weight? What suspension? My car is 34lbs shy of 4,000 lbs but still 1.40 60's, get that dialed in and you're FLYING!

Very nice times for such a heavy car! What pulley combo and how much boost are you seeing with that F1C?
