Default Is my fuel pump shot?

I have an 02 Z06 with a Magnacharger, 42 lbs injectors.

Recently I noticed a "skipping" sensation under heavy acceleration. During heavy acceleration my fuel pressure drops from 58#'s to 50 - 52 #'s.

I am assuming my fuel pump is on its last legs. I purchased the car with the magnacharger already installed so I am not sure it has an aftermarket pump.

Any advice on tests to run against the pump or should I be worried about something else?

Default

same issue here. I run twin walbros and due to a improper fuel level I overheatd the pumps. That get loud and then quiteand they die a slow death. I have seen 60 psi at idle and driving for 30 mins in and out of boost she drops to 49-50 psi. My car would do the skip dance to on the wideband it goes lean for a split second. But thats only driving for about 30 mins so I need to replace my pumps also.
