Default Is it worth it to port the exhaust housing on a Turbo?

I noticed my MPT76 Turbo exhaust housing were the flange is has a bar that seperates in the exhaust inlet and my T4 flange has no seperator. I figured that would be a restriction for the exhaust to run into a flat spot.

Is it worth it to grind it to a knife point making the exhaust enter the turbo with little restriction?

I don't know if it would be worth it but I would do it.

I think I am going to remove the exhaust housing and smooth the transition. I just don't know with a boost application if that even matters.

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt you. I'm positive it would flow better, I'm just not sure how much more power or quicker spool you'll see.
