The Great Debate-- What Compression for a daily driven stroked 383 with STS??
Well I cant seem to find a definate answer so seeking the pros. Here is the setup im in the middle of buying. Keep in mind this is a daily driver with STS t67..
2001 Ws6 ls1
Callies 4.00" Compstar crank and rods, arp throughout
EPP Forced induction cam
Cam specs: Dur @ .050 232 int 240 exh Lift .595 int .608 exh Lobe Sep115.0
Stock but polished heads
Chromoly pushrods
dual gold valve springs
#42 injectors
walbro 255
STS t67 with FMIC
Here is the debate... The pistons...
Should I go with the Wiseco -15cc dished and be at 9.6-9.7:1?
Or
Should I go with the Wiseco -32cc dished and be at 8.5:1?
Its killing me to make this decision and Id like to order tommorrow. What kind of numbers do you think this setup will make also on good tune.

The -15 will be fine unless your gonna run huge boost or only have access to crap fuel.
The turbo is gonna be a bit small for a 383 and i would upgrade the injectors to 60s, your gonna max the 42s pretty quick with FI
