My home made ALT, Tensioner, Idler bracket for front mount turbo setup!
Well, just finished my bracket for the front drive system. I was going to buy one for a sponsor, but thought I would try to make my own first.
Cost me about $8 (had some metallic black paint laying around )and a few hours. Just gotta go buy a shorter belt, intake clears nice, everything clears great!!
One more think of the list, plan on dropping the motor back in this week and hopefully have it running in a few more weeks.
Oh and btw, the idler pulley just mounts to the water pump bolt that the original tensioner mounted to, just had to fab a spacer.
Whatcha think?

Thanks all! Not the nicest looking piece, but it's functional and very strong!
I'm sure the one's you can buy from sponsors here are top notch, but I am trying to do this as budget as possible and at the same time spending the $$ on more important things I can't make.
What I accomplished today - - - -
Swapped the cam, springs, pushrods, LS2 chain, LS6 oil pump, fabb'd the bracket above, tapped the oil pan for drain, tapped the pressure side above oil filter, ran the lines, fabbed the wastegate pipe.
Tomarrow I plan on cleaning the engine up and prepare to install back in the SS. Getting a little closer everyday!
