Can I get some opinions on my ideas?
Im doing a turbo build on my 00 TA. Just hoping to get some advice. Heres what I have so far.
Here is 1 of 2 intercooler ideas I have. This involves pretty much massacring the bumper support and keeping the fog lights. It has room for a larger intercooler in both depth and width.
The second is a smaller one that only requires cutting of the foam bumper support, the inlet/outlet go above the fog lights in order to retain them. Its a smaller intercooler.
Heres my only idea for an intake and charge pipe setup. Ill relocate the battery to the back. The intake for the turbo will go down the hole left by the coolant reservoir. I will be cutting away some of the metal to make a larger hole for the charge pipe to come up.
This is the vent in the bumper cover where the intake will draw its air
In an effort to retain my a/c I want to move the condenser into the radiator support. I have 2 ideas for this. The first requires notching the rad support about 3" in.
The second is a little more drastic. It requires cutting a section of the rad support and moving it up 1.5" to allow the condenser to sit in there. I will also be buying a similar dimension(to condenser) radiator. This will provide the most room.
