Default 20psi on 6.0L???

what do you guys think about 20lbs of boost on a forged 6.0 with 317 heads, arp head studs and gm mls head gaskets. is this a bad idea?

aluminum block? that kinda psi I would use the iron block.

You will be fine with either block. I would call Virgina speed----->>>>
and talk with them. They have the 4 bolt head setup hauling azz!

thats pretty much what I have 6.0l iron and 317 heads and about 18 psi 813 hp I also run arp studs not a hint of pushing water.

what headgasket do you use? can you give more details on that 813hp? turbo, cam, stock heads? i am going for 700whp with stock heads and a epp blower cam and lots of boost!

I used Gm mls gaskets and a light coat of copper seal.

I have had great sucess with the SCE titan with the built in fire ring on my stuff. They cost $250 a set, But I have a friend with them on a 6.0 with 317 heads a PT88 and 22psi over 200 passes 1500 street miles and 0 water.

i have a 6.0 block, i run 20+psi with a pt88, do yourself a favor and get the block oringed. its 400 bucks or so and will take care of your head leak issues for a long time. i did and never push a drop. dont even bother with expensive gaskets. mls factory gaskets with an oring in the block. its cheap and works. the Grand national guys have been doing it for years.
