Default Edelbrock LS3 E-Force Supercharger???

Edelbrock provided a sneak peek of their upcoming Corvette LS3 E-Force supercharger at a recent Super Chevy media event. Vic Edelbrock himself made an unscheduled visit to El Toro Marine base in an otherwise stock looking 2009 Corvette.

Looks like a knock off of the ls9 unit. In any case a ls3 with boost is killer.

From what I understand, this blower fits under the stock hood, it should be interesting! Edelbrock is a top notch company, I'm sure it will be right from day 1. Bob

Here's to hoping it performs BETTER than the LS9 and maybe even as good as a TVS.

i was t hinking the same thing. and this isnt a knock off really, from what i read the only reason ls9's supercharger is designed the way it is cuz they didnt have much room to work with. so edelbrock designed something similar to fit under stock hood is nice.

I was thinking about pulling the blower off my ZR1 and installing a TVS.

Willis? About the only thing similar to a TVS on an LS9 is the blower impeller. They made lots of compromises to get things to fit under a stock hood. My TVS blown LS3 makes more power on less boost than an LS9. I have a slightly bigger cam and more compression, but I think the TVS setup is more effecient vs the LS9.

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but my TVS 2300 is driven off the stock crank pulley. 6 rib belt. 8.5 psi and no belt slip.

Ls9's use more boost. I'm making more power on less boost. My cam is a little bigger and my exhaust may be a little less restrictive (long tube headers, no cats, NPP mufflers).

About a year ago I was at a trade show and Edlebrock reps said this is the same blower that is used on the ls9 "not like or simular the same" he went on to say they build the ls9 and lsa blower housings for gm. I don't know how true that is but that is what the rep said
