Finishing turbo project OHI pics
I am home this week since my appendix exploaded sat, So I now have time to post updates.
Long story short, I bought this car off of some well know members here on the LS1Tech about a month ago. It needed some finishing and some supporting mods to make use of the power potential of the new combo. With this said, I made a lot of changes under the car and hood, but car remain the same on the inside and out.
370 iron block, Diamond pistons, the usual bottom end stuff, studs, comp cam 228/226, 115, good heads, BBK SSi intake, 57lb inj, complete Aeromotive fuel system, sump in tank, 9", built trans, 3600, yad yad yad.
The turbo system is an OHI with at Turbonetics T76 turbo, and intercooled. I plan to run 10 psi in first, 14 in sec, and 18 to 19 in third, but this may change depending on traction and track conditions and the ability of the T76 to keep up. I might jusy stop at 16 in second and third and drop boost in OD.
The below pics show the radiator support mods and the under hood without the intake tube or bat. I am using one 17" puller and 1 13" pusher. I will get some more from under the car and of the fuel system later. It has not ran yet, but I have built a program to get it going so I can tune it when the doctor lets me drive again.

LMAO! I hear that. I'm scheduled for my vasectomy in a few weeks and I plan on getting in some good build time in the following days...even if I have to fashion a codpiece from a bag of frozen peas and duct tape. My fiancee will probably have a similar reaciton.

Holy **** man, you bought that car. I'm comming over to check it out, LOL. Nice score man. Next BBQ I set-up you better bring that car out.
I'm hoping to have all my FMIC stuff within the next few months & then we can start that. I'm buying a 3.7 pulley this week & have a stock crank & front/rear covers I'm getting as well. So I'm slowly moving along.
