Default Wideband help?

I have a aem wideband and it keeps burning the sensor up, just wanting to know if anyone has any ideas to why it is doing this. Its located in the y pipe on driver side about a foot or so in front of the bend. First time it happened, it just started reading all over the place so i changed it out then a month later started doing the same thing again. But now it works ok at part throttle but at wot it goes all the way lean which I know is wrong because the car isnt down on power and doesnt pop backfire or anything. I also hooked up a fast wideband in the same location and played with it for a complete day and it worked fine, no problems and at wot it was spot on where it should be. Thanks for the input if theres any
