Default need help picking turbo....MAYBE TURBO'S

i planned on building a 370 so i bought a turbonetics T78 and now i am building a 408 so need a bigger turbo

ok here is me setup and goals...
408/4l80e
6.0L iron block and #317 heads
gonna get an isky cam
4"callies crank
eagle H-beam rods
wiseco -20cc pistons
all going into a 2000 full size rcsb w/ manual windows/locks (should weight 4000lbs)

i am looking for upper 700's on pump gas (wouldn't hurt for more...lol)
this will be a street truck so i would like it to pull really good from 2000-2500 to 6000-6500rpm
a t6 is not out of the question i have not built the kit yet but it will have a 4" dp

what turbo would you recommend for my setup (i don't have tons of money ether)

what about twins??

thanks for everyones help so far!!!

^^^ very complete answer there, and if you want better response try to go for the ball bearing version of any of those turbochargers, if they are available.

but non of those turbochargers are cheap.

if you want a big cheap turbo, get one of a diesel truck that had at least a 14 liter motor

good luck

GT88 for the price can not be beat. Remarkable performance and spools very quick especially that size motor.

A GT80/GT88 would be good, even a GT45 would do the trick(and spool VERY quick).

WHAT WOULD SPOOL FASTER AND PULL GOOD TO AROUND 6500RPM AND WOULD NOT CHOKE MY 408 OUT AND IF I DECIDE TO TURN IT UP TO 22PSI with supporting mods IT WOULD STILL BE OK

TWIN TC66 .81ar

TWIN MP-64 .70AR divided

SINGLE GT-88 1.08ar

SINGLE GT-91 1.08ar

SINGLE PT-88 .96ar

SINGLE ST-80 1.00ar

AND COPULD YOU GIVE ME THE PRO'S AND CON'S OF EACH PLEASE W/O BUDGET BEING A CON

thanks

GT88 or GT91 will allow you to later down the road get stupid with much larger turbos. Also for the price its hard to beat and only 1 gate and 1 BOV is needed.

LOL...could have been. We have sold 3 of them today to LSX based customers alone. They really work awesome with those motors.
