Depending on how long of a run and how many bends are in it. Outlet of the turbo w/ a straight shot, probably no reason to run larger than the outlet size. Each 90 degree elbow will add the same flow characteristics of X feet of straight pipe. Im not an engineer but worked with several on high pressure gas piping projects. So if you want it to flow the same as a straight pipe but it has several elbows in it, using a larger pipe will achieve it.
What size exactly? So many variables... outlet size, pipe size, elbow radius, length....

*edit. I think i overtechnically answered your question if your talking about "will 4" exhaust fit on the car?" Yes.
I was thinking charge pipes at first.

Are you talking about the cold side pipes or hot side pipes. Hot side pipes you can run 4 in. with a turbo K-member. I have 4in. all the way out the back with a bullet muffler. And for the cold pipes, I have 4in. as well coming off of the turbo thru the A/W intercooler, into the TB.
