Default Close to 8's in my garage built Street Car

Got a chance to get out to the track on the new converter. (The last converter only lasted to the 1/8th mile.) I'm still in the process of setting up the launch to have it where it was (down to a low 1.3 60' with the previous converter). I finally made it all the way down the track to get some numbers. With a little more boost i went from 114 to 122 in the 1/8th, but unfortunately the ET was the same due to poor launches and tires that are on the outs. I'm very excited to see what this thing can do once I get my 60ft back down. Should be fairly easy to get to an 8.8, and i still have a ton of power left on tap.

quick rundown of the car:
an amazing 408ci thanks to my friend at J&J Speed Shop
very stout S88 thanks to the guys at forcedinductions.com
th400 with a brake
3800# street car with all the luxuries minus A/C
Mickey Thompsons - 325/50/15
these runs at 17psi

everything was built in my garage/shop by myself with the help of some awesome friends! couldn't have done it without them.

it's fun pissing off the guys with the race cars

i'm the blue camaro in the last run... (9.1 @ 149)

very excited to see this thing run when i get it launching again... then time to man up a couple hundred hp! i think i may need a cage though...OOPS!

thanks! 6 pointer.... after my last run the guy was like.. "uhhhhh you might need a license to do that" they didn't even realize i only had a 6pt, usually they are more strict.

i have a grudge race (maybe) coming up with a shop owner who sponsors the track. (which is why im not disclosing power or boost numbers, other than the boost on this run).... the owner said he was cool with me running that, but after that i'll need a full cage.

Many nights of little sleep, but seeing this it was all worth it.

6 bolt LSX 427 for next season?

Props also need to go to my tuner Firehawk853, and his efforts on the dyno making this combo fast & safe

Nice pass. If the shop owner that is wanting to race you is a smart guy, he can figure out your HP by your time slip.

haha... this guy isn't very bright... nice car and does clean work; i can't take that away from him, but he runs his mouth and produces a lot of enemies...

he claims to hold the stock block world record in his (girlfriend's) evo. since he blew it up, the car's been under the knife for a big build throughout this past year. doubt he will show up

That S88 will rock the house for sure. Should be an easy 8 sec car when you turn it up.

Not sure if boost or hp numbers mean anything at all when you have the time slip posted.
