Default What compression to go for

my compression with gm mls .051 gaskets will be 10:1 (same as stock ls1) just wondering if anyone here is running the stock compression with 10+ lbs on a forged piston

I wana run around 15 psi the pistons are wiseco rods are eagle h beam

i am running 14.5 psi on an iron 408...wiseco pistons...eagle rods...10.3:1 compression

Well think im gona run 9:1 play it safe.... I dont use meth and i want to run 93... running race gas at the track is not a bad idea though

This is a really good question. I have seen a lot of people on here like cablebandit that have a stocklike compression also seen people with some as low as 7.x.x compression. I think it depends on you wants and what your parts can handle. Saying that is your vehicle going to be a DD street/strip or just taken out on the town on the weekends? The lower your compression the more sluggish it's going to be out of boost. If your are not running meth then it is a good idea to keep it low. But you should think about running meth it is a great safety mech for FI IMO.

8.6:1 cr, 10 psi and no meth on 94 octane, and will be turning it up some more with bigger turbo's
