Default 5.3 lots of questions

Well i finally made my mind up on a 5.3 liter truck manny turbo in my 01 camaro

I just have a bunch of questions on all of this

1. Is the 5.3 the same block? will my stock computer work?

2. Will ls1 arp head studs work with 317s and this motor?

3. Will stock 6.0l mls headgaskets work ok? or should i go with something else?

4. I dont really want to change rod bolts if i dont have to, will 10-14 pounds be fine? unless i can get by on 15 haha

5. i am looking into the Nasty performance stage 1 fuel system minus injectors so i can get some 60lbs instead of the 42s it comes with... will this be enough fuel? unless i dont need all that

6. I am assuming everyone is running a sd tune where do i place the map sensor? i hear the 2bar stock cobalt ones are the way to go?

7. What is the down side of running my torquer V2? it seems like everyone is running the ls6 cam

8. I just didmy cam swap not to long ago... new oil pump, springs push rods and cam... will all these parts work with the motor and heads?

9. Will i need a fuel pressure regulator?

Sorry i am a huge newbie to all of this but i really want to boost my car lol

1. no most are iron block, yes
2.yes (with a tune)
3.yes, they will be fine
4.works for some, not for others, planned rpm is important here
5.should be fine
6. leave it where its at. (it has a map stock)
7.if its on a 114 it should be fine, you already have it give it shot.
8.yes (assuming nothing has been milled)
9. yes (returnless does work but injector flow lowers as manifold pressure rises.)

In the future if no one answers your questions, its probably cause you could answer it your self in a search. good luck with the build
