Default aluminum block power potential

i have this in the gen 3 section also but it may be better here. r any of u turbo guys still using ls1 aluminum block on ur high hp turbo builds? i dont want the weight of an iron block and i dont want to spend 3500 on an lsx block after machine work. my goal is a daily driven 700hp with the potential to crank it to around 1100hp for some major decimation. i want to use something like a garrett gt55r so id assume boost pressure would be around 25lbs. any help would be greatly appreciated, i know a lot of u guys are putting down this kind of power, just want to see if its possible with a stock block

Oh boy...here we go again...... lol

For your goals....aluminum is perfectly fine.

And yes....aluminum if resleeved can handle twice what your 700 goal is.

And I don't think you need 25 lbs to make 700 RWHP. More like 12 lbs.

.
