Default Best super charger kit for a H/C/I stalled 347ci

Just as the title reads, I am looking to put forged pistons and rods in the camaro and throw a blower on it. My car is a 2002 Camaro Z28 LS1. The cars best time on the motor so far was a 10.99@122.4 mph I am going to lower the compression ratio from 10.8-1 to 8.5-1. The cam shaft is a 232/236-646/612@114LSA with the trickflow 215cnc heads, fast 90mm ported intake with the nick williams 90mm tb. What would be the best supercharger kit for my application. any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance guys.

I would say a D1SC pro charger is what your looking for. You could do high 700 to low 800 rwhp with that.

Off topic but, you are running 10.99 on a stock bottom end? If so you don't have problems with PTV clearence. That cam sounds like what I want for my car when I get my 3600 stall.

If your looking to get rid of that cam for a good price let me know.

I don't have PTV issues because I am using Trickflow heads (the valve angle is different with the Trickflows) and yes that E.T. was on the stock bottom end. Not sure about the cam though, Allan Futral said this cam would be fine with a supercharger because it is on a 114LSA. If I decide to replace the cam with one made more for my application I will be sure to keep you in mind. Thanks

I vote D1-SC as well. Why are you going to run 8.5? most run 9-9.5 unless you want a ton of boost. If thats the case I would suggest an F series procharger

One more vote for a D1 procharger. Is this going to be street driven? Or track only? How many cc is the combustion chamber in those heads?

I wanted to run 9-9.5 but someone I know said they thought it might be to much. I'll get with Allan Futral and where ever he says to put it is where it will go. I just wanted to see what you guys thought. At first I was thinking about the P1-SC charger for the car but I've have a few people talk about the Kenny Bell and the Whipple chargers.

It will be a street car that barely gets driven on the street. The CC on the combustion chambers are 61cc.

I would go at least 9:1 compression, 9.5:1 for the something street driven.

I'd build it with a 9.5/1 compression ratio, you don't need to go any lower for a centrifical supercharger with good pump gas.

This is the kit I recommend. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=798 It comes with everything you need.
The Kenne Bell and the Whipple don't fit under the hood without hacking the car up, and I haven't heard of an f body with one yet running times as low as what you can get with a D-SC. Bob

Bob, which blower would suit me best for my application. Here is a list of mods that are already in the car. Will be adding forged pistons and rods to the stock crank with ARP studs on the bottom end to handle the extra power.

2002 Z28 Camaro A4 with Trickflow 215cc heads milled to 62cc, Harland sharp shaft roller rockers 1.7 ratio, 232/236-646/612-114LSA cam, FMS chrome-moly hardened 5/16" push rods 7.500", ARP hex head bolts, FMS ported oil pump, LS6-2 timing chain, 30lb SVO injectors, SLP 85mm MAF, SLP Lid, K&N drop in, Hooker longtubes, custom true duals with Magna pack mufflers, PTC 4400 Stall converter, built 4L60E, Strange 12bolt with 4.10 gears, Billet Specialties light weight rims 15X10 in the rear and 15X3.5 in the front, 28" tall Hoosiers in the rear, ported fast 90mm, NW TB, Custom Racetronix / Walbro 255 pump BMR front tubular k-member and a-arms, BMR torque arm, and dyno tuned by Allan Futral.

You could go with either the D-1SC or the F-1A, it depends on just how much power you are looking for, and how fast you want to go. KP is back to knocking on a 8 second door with his Formula with a D-1SC. He got into the 8's with a D-1SC with his Trans-Am that he got bored with. We've seen 16 psi of boost with the D-1SC and 19 pi with the F-1A. The F-1A is louder and sounds more aggressive than the D-1SC, so if you want something quieter I'd go with the D-1SC. Thanks. Bob
