Default Electronic Boost Controllers

This was just a quick search for boost controllers. Who's using these and what are your likes/dislikes? I'm hunting one for my PTK style twin 76 Corvette.

We have sold tons of Eboost controllers.....they are great. Also the new one from Turbosmart is a great piece as well as we love them also. They are the turbosmart street controller. Cheaper, but not as many gizmo's.

Have eboost 2 not hooked up yet though. Curious if anyone has tried some of the boost ramping options with the eboost??

T-braked Powerglide. Drag racing and street destroyer. (a/c, stereo, leather...all of it)

What, in your opinion, makes Exile the better choice?

The exile is built around drag racing. Launch feature, ramps, stages per gear or time. pivot points on the ramps. CO2 control.

I have it in my car and love it. The ams1000 is a better controller but twice the price. with the ams you can change as little as .1lbs of boost.

no you dont have to... most dont.

co2 is only on when you activate the system so you can drive it for months with out using co2.

The co2 is for extra control of the wastegates correct? (more pressure on the gate than could normally be provided?)

I'm under the impression that you do. Which makes it only $10 cheaper than the Exile and Exile has more features. I'm just about sold.

I wish I knew someone or could get my hands on one just to see if it will mount in that useless cubby hole/cigarette lighter area in the C5s.

i only used one solenoid on my incon twins with my eboost2. I dont see where the exile has that many features over the eboost2 plus i prefer how the eboost2 looks in my ac vent vs the exile

You firebird guys are lucky with those perfectly sized vents! A friend of mine had a pretty good idea.

Get rid of my factory cd/radio in favor of a bigger double din unit or whatever they're called. Move the hvac controls down and mount the exile controller in the dash. It would take some custom glass work but look clean as hell. Thanks Kerry!

AMS 1000 /thread
Go to yellow bullet and look what all the bad boys use. I looked at all these controlers. My buddy has the exile. I even thought of saving a few bucks and getting the ams500. The AMS controlers are in a league by themselves.
Likes, dead nut boost control. holds four programs, up to six stages each with adjustable ramping boost levels and total duration, Scramble button (presss button and get a preset amount of boost added to whatever you are already set at. Decel button (same as scramble only it reverse)
on screen programing very easy to use. The best customer service in the world. I had an issue that turned out to be a chaffed wire, totaly my fault. The owner seb spent the time needed to help me figure it out. He even sent me a new controler to try at no charge!!!!
No I have no affiliation with AMS. Any body that knows me knows when I dont like a product or get bad service I run my mouth (big time lol ask lingenfelter)
I am also passionate when I do like a company that makes a great product and has great customer service.
