Default Notching the s/c pulley?

Has anyone tried to notch or make some grooves on the charger pulley with a haxsaw or diegrinder? I have the 8 rib setup and i'm having a very little bit of slip in the upper rpm's. Just wondering if the pulley would come apart?

If you kept the cuts shallow the pulley will not come apart. I haven't tried this technique but this is what worked for me: I took my pullies and glass bead-blasted the old black anodizing off and continued until the surface was slightly rough (you only need to roughen the beltway on each pulley). Then I had the pullies hard anodized which left a very tough, non-shiny surface on top of the roughened pulley surface. After that I didn't have any more slippage issues and my boost went up about a half point.

I tried it with my 3.85" pulley using a dremel and a cutting disk. Looked like **** cause i did a quick job but I guess it helped a little bit. The pulley held together fine.
