Default Help Choosing Turbo

i need some help with my setup, im going to be running a foged 347 (stock crank) at around 9.0:1 compression. my goal is for around 850-900 rwhp and still be streetable, this will be a truck manifold kit also. im looking at a borg s475, or a pt88, would this be achievable on the s475? any other good choices without droping alot of cash on a turbo?

You will need at least a 80mm to 88mm for the level of power and speed you are wanting.

There is a New T4 based 91mm Unit to consider.

im runnin a s475 on my lt1 and its gone 6.20@112 2nd time out on pump gas. so i think with good flowing heads and a good spec'ed cam a s475 will get you there but itd be maxed out! it would prolly be pretty laggy on the street tho!

You prefer to run a turbo around 80% most of the time if you can. 100% will mean rebuild and lots of HOT air from the discharge.
