I have a 6.0 in my truck at 5500lbs with the 4L80E. Not sure mine is optimized but it drives nice, pulls my trailer well and has run 11.4X at the track. I have a 72mm Precision on it which is kind of small but drives nicely. My truck is a daily driver though. The first turbo broke a shaft running it to hard at about 40,000 miles, the current one has been on it since, and it is just over 100,000 on the clock now.

I believe that 1000rwhp is somewhere around the lower end of the safe limit with 4 bolt heads without oringing (aftermarket castings) I would pick a turbo that makes that and gives you the best spool. No need to have a 94mm turbo if the heads are gonna push water at only 15 psi. Since you will be in such a heavy vehicle, bottom end torque (quick spool) is going to matter....I would guess something in the s480-s488 range. Hopefully the pros will chime in.
