Default Heatshielding for motormounts, lines, wires, etc..

I went with the ebay kit and there are little things that im having some trouble tackling. Firstly, the way to kit is designed, the crossover goes between the mount and the engine. The DP goes between the wheelwell and the motormount, so this area will be hot. Im getting all the pipes caoted in ceramic coating so it should cut down alot on the heat, im also thinking of wrapping some key areas. What Im concerned about is melting the motor mount, and im trying to figure out the best way to shield this from happening, without going to solid motor mounts. Im also concerned with my plug wires and PS lines. Ideas?

I like the Thermo-Tec insulated tape for odd shielding jobs. I also like Earl's FlameGuard for heavy duty hose or gasline coverage. For other things like a mount, making up a stainless steel heat shield can make a huge difference. If you have the room and it's a serious heat source, like a turbo manifold, you can make a 2-wall stainless heat shield with like a 1/8" or 1/4" gap in between the walls and you will cut down the heat transfer by over 80%.

Here's a picture with some orange Earl's flameguard on my fuel return line and my main battery line from the trunk:

Hey i have access to that! We use that on aircraft lines to prevent burning, rubbing and such.
