Cheaper?? Don't know, CI's cost cubic Dollar's. By the time you change out the k-member for the bigblock, buy headers for the bigblock-f-body, figure out how to install the PS pump, altenator location, it's just as easy to put a turbo kit on the LS Motor, and you already know where all the accesories fit, and you can use your stock tranny. Big block requires a th400 or a glide. Alot more involved with installing a bigblock other than just the bigblock which makes the cost factor alot higher than a turbo kit install. Believe me, I was going this route before the LSX Motor I had built, but decided against it. The cost factor was actually higher for the bigblock than the LS setup, and fit alot easier.

I love my supercharger. But there are just a lot of things besides the kit to run a reliable combo IMO.

Josh at KYTP lol. You can go the ebay right like I did, its definitely cheaper but I also have all winter to turbo my car(In alaska, so til April). There are tons of little **** that needs modified but its all about having something that occupies my time and keeps me out of trouble. If I had bought a kit from Josh at the start I wouldve been done by now lol

Nope. I am talking a 408 iron block LS motor. My point is there is no cheap way to a reliable boost setup. A NA motor combination is pretty much plug and play. No fiddling with intercoolers, meth, boost reference fuel reg., broken piston ring lands, wideband, etc.
