Im wondering, those with the STS kit arent you worried about losing the turbo and motor due the scavenge pump failing? It probably wouldnt take long to spin a bearing if that pump goes and no oil is being returned to the pan. so far that the only potential problem with I see with this kit.

The only way u would kill your motor if the pump fails, Is to completely ignore the massive cloud of smoke coming from your tail pipe. The most amount of oil I lost due to a fail pump was 1quart and I had to drive 3 miles. Dont ask why.....

Ok so the turbo blew and that was basically your warning light? sucks but better to lose a turbo than the entire engine I guess.

that is why they have the buzzer too so you know when the pump goes. if you are that worried about it then buy the mocal pump now and some tools and leave them in your car behind the spare tire for when it finally kills over

not worried, replaced the STS pump with the Turbowerx Exampump with 5 year warranty. Not worried.
