Yes there will be a lot of trips to Milan for the Friday night heads up races.
Yeah we could put a 10.5 on it but we still cannot get into a lot of those classes because you usually need a stock style front suspension. This is just a good test bed for going a little faster then usual with the LSX.

We could run the car in the 10.5 heads up series at Milan according to my interpretation of the rules I just read from Milan Dragway's website.
The only issue I see would be the stock appearing part listed in the rules.
We will be running the car with the big tires for sure, if we get it working well the 10.5 class might be something to look at.

All vehicles must retain stock appearance and wheelbase (Full tube chassis cars may have 1-4 inches from stock wheelbase)
Slicks must be stamped 10.5 on tire, W’s are allowed. 12” maximum tread width
Lower Engine Containment Device Required:
Oil Retention Device: Device may be custom-built ballistic blanket-style or metal-style (I.e., bucket) device. Metal pan may be no longer than the engine from the front of crank shaft to the rear of the flywheel. Pan must be inside the frame rails and fabricated to retain oil\liquid. Pan must attach to the frame via conventional fasteners or straps. Pan must be a minimum of 3inches above ground.
Diapers: They do not have to be SFI rated.

at 3000 pounds that car should be a monster, I still want to see someone come out and race a 485 LS motor from ERL, Dart, RHS, or World with 2 massive turbos like pro mod 91's. I think that combo has a chance to run with the best of them since you can still get the small block weight break.
And ROFL at the 300 lb weight deduction for running a mod motor, I mean damn do they suck that much?????????
