Default boosted cam?

i have a 220/220 .565/.565 114 laying around would this be enough to push a 347 into the 9's or would i need a little more duration?

Good question. Another one might be "how much boost would it take to get a 347 powered ride weighing "X" into the nines with a 220/.565-114lsa cam. Nail down a few variables.

I don't think a bigger cam will make a huge difference. If you have all the bolt ons, tranny, converter, gears etc, with 15 to 20psi, you can run 9's. You might not make it into the 9's, but I don't think that cam will be holding you back.

I think thats plenty of cam. I went 10.59 @4950lbs 4x4 truck with a little 212/212, .527''/.527'', 114* 6.0L and 10.33 with a 215/215, .566''/.566'', 114* 370CI That was on less than 16Psi of boost with a Tc76, 317 heads. Parish went mid 9's in that farmont with a stock 5.3L with a Z06 cam.
