Question Oil pan capacity needed for twin turbo LSx build ?

I am building up a pumpgas, iron block 408 to install in my '69 Nova, and the plan is to add twin turbos. I don't anticipate turning it up over 7,000 rpm.

I am getting ready to buy the oil pan, and I just wanted some feedback on how much oil capacity is needed. There are a couple oil pans with 5 to 5½ qt capacity (RetroLSX, Autokraft, LH8) that have built-in oil filters, and then there is the 7 qt. Moroso pan which requires a remote oil filter. Does anyone have experience (good/bad) using a 5 qt pan with 2 turbos? The easy choice is the Moroso pan, but I would prefer not to have the remote filter unless 7 qt. is just the only right way to go.

Default

After reading an old post by HUNTER02SS where he lost an engine due in part to insufficient lubrication, I am just going to go the obvious route and get a high capacity Moroso oil pan. /thread
