f 1 or d1sc?

Default f 1 or d1sc?

I am planning on a 408 iron block, forged blower pistons, lq9 heads, blower cam, and usual bolt ons was wondering if should get d1sc but know am wondering about the f1, shooting for 650-700rwhp on a c5

ps how loud is a f1? How streetable? Mainly for street racing

The D1SC kit for C5 is enough for what you are looking for. F1 is only if you plan to go for more power in the 700-900 range, but you will need more computer work and will be much more involved. Your street racing better be starting above 80mph or you are gonna lose everytime with that much power.

With that setup, I'd say you'd still be fine with the D1, but you might not be in it's efficency range, depending how well your heads flow and how much boost you'll need to run to achieve your goals. The F1 would certainly allow you to grow more in the future and give you more cfm per RPM. But the price tag on that puppy ain't cheap.

Thanks guys. That really helps. I will probably stick with the d1sc. You know how it goes. I havent even got the setup and thinking about more power. Have just been seeing alot of post about the f1 and bigger bore motors so I thought I would ask. Thanks again. I also have a NX kit on it already so I may just spray a little 50 shot on top of the d1sc
