Default What is a GT-88 turbo?

I bought this turbo from a member here and was told it is a GT-88. I have been looking on Garretts web sight and can not find any info on it. I understand they changed their nominclature, so my question is what is it? Is it the GT4718? That is the closest thing I can find on their web sight that comes close to the specs.

Thanks

Depends on a lot of variables.

Turbo, Ball Bearing Garrett GT4718R (aka GT4788-R) . Capable of close to 1400HP! Compressor
wheel diameter is 118mm exd. / 88mm ind. (56trim) Compressor housing is .69 A/R has a 6" inlet
and 3.5" outlet slip on connection. Turbine housing uses a T6 undivided inlet and 5" V-band
outlet. Available Turbine housing A/R, .96, 1.08, 1.23, and 1.39

Turbine
-Wheel: 92.7mm w/ 82 trim
-Housing: 0.96, 1.08, 1.23, 1.39 A/R
-Maps

Compressor
-Wheel: 117.6mm exd./88.0mm ind w/ 56 trim
-Housing: 0.69 A/R

Look correct?

Looks correct but I can not conform the trim or 118 extducer size. That is why I am thinking it is this turbo.

Compressor Wheel, Turbine Wheel - Those are your first two indicators.

Also, check your other thread. I have some ideas but need more info to help the situation.

Its a GT4718 compressor matched with what I believe is an older TV style turbine wheel. Similar idea to the PT88.
