Exclamation hinson c5 turbo kit

Just started installing my turbo kit and having problems with the down pipe hitting the coil packs is there a differance between z06 coil packs and a c5?

i believe you have to relocate them higher up on the valve cover or just move them completely into the fender area (cleaner look imo)

that manifold looks nice, i bet that would work on a gto with very minor modifications.

Been looking for a turbo kit using GOOD reputable turbos. Everywhere you look its the APS
kit for Vettes. Keep us posted on the build. This could very well be my next kit. Is 304 used throughout for the piping and exhaust?

Yup! I would go with TTi X-kit if I have a C5.

No disrespect intended to turbo tech but that kit is pretty freakin expensive. 9,500 for the kit then 250 for freight shipping. Thats 10k for just the kit. I could by a 408 longblock and boost it close to that.

It's an iron manifold kit though that is solid is well proven. I have seen the kits sell used many times for under 5K.

10k is a reasonable price for a kit made by an AMERICAN company that wants to keeps lights on and deliver a quality product.

Maybe if companies ship extensive directions with their products that would be helpful.

Yep. We are installing 2 TTIX kits on C6Z's as we speak.

i have seen the cast manifolds tti uses in person and they look very sturdy, it is just too bad they do not make those for the f body. anybody know if they will fit on an f body ?

It depends on the coil set that you're using.

LS1 Coil - Flip it upside down so the outlet of the coil is pointed up and use a longer plug wire to reach the spark plug.
Truck/LS7 Coil - Remove the front bolt, clock the coil up. The left bolt will hold in place fine. Factory wire length will work.
